Professional Writers Victoria, formed in 1980 from a nucleus of people writing primarily for magazines and newspapers, as well as the "periodicals". Periodical writing remains important but our scope has expanded widely. Today, our membership includes successful writers of books, plays, reports, travellogues, scripts, speeches, web pages, and more.
