In British Columbia, “E” Division provides provincial, federal and municipal policing to the province through 126 detachments, with more than 5,000 police officers, or regular members. There are over 6,000 RCMP employees in B.C. including public service employees and civilian members. Many municipal employees, auxiliary constables and volunteers also help in the day-to-day operations of “E” Division.

RCMP, Detachments Alberta The RCMP is unique in the world since it is a national, federal, provincial and municipal policing body. We provide a total federal policing service to all Canadians and policing services under contract to the three territories, eight provinces (except Ontario and Quebec), approximately 198 municipalities and, under 172 individual agreements, to 192 First Nations communities.
RCMP, Saskatchewan Our mandate is multi-faceted. We prevent and investigate crime, maintain order, enforce laws on matters as diverse as health and the protection of government revenues, contribute to national security, ensure the safety of state officials, visiting dignitaries and foreign missions, and provide vital operational support services to other police and law enforcement agencies.

“D” Division provides provincial, municipal, federal and First Nation policing through 50 host and stand-alone detachments with more than 900 Regular Members, and over 250 Civilian members and Public Servants combined in Manitoba.
