Aboriginal Network on Disability Society The British Columbia Aboriginal Network on Disability Society, or as more commonly known, BCANDS, is an award winning, provincial, not for profit, charitable Society serving the unique and diverse disability and health resource / support service needs of the Aboriginal population of British Columbia. BCANDS is a “stand alone” organization and the only organization of its type in Canada.
Victoria Disability Resource Centre Incorporated February 15, 1990, the Victoria Disability Resource Centre (VDRC) is a cross-disability, grassroots, not-for-profit organization run by and for persons with disabilities. A Board of Directors govern the organization. The Board is comprised of community members both with and without disabilities. We are a proud member of the Canadian Association of Independent Living Centres, a national network of disability resource centres across Canada.
BC Employment & Assistance The British Columbia Employment and Assistance (BCEA) Program promotes greater independence for people with disabilities, including income security. In addition, the BCEA Program recognizes that people with disabilities may require additional supports, such as a higher assistance rate, supplementary assistance and specialized employment supports in order to meet the challenges of daily living and move towards greater independence.

Canadian Diabetes Association, BC Offices
Each office provides diabetes programs and services, hosts events and offers a variety of fundraising and volunteer opportunities for the people in their community living with diabetes or prediabetes.

Working with researchers, professionals and families, we are a bridge between research and practice.
Learning Disabilities Association of Vancouver This chapter of the Learning Disabilities Association was founded in 1970 by a group of parents concerned about the learning difficulties their children were experiencing. These small beginnings led to an organization that serves individuals with Learning Disabilities across Metro Vancouver.

Vancouver Resource Society The Society, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, has been in operation since 1972 and currently serves some 150 clients. Our purpose is to develop housing with programs that support our clients values, goals and objectives. Operational funding comes from contracts with the Ministry of Children & Families, the Ministry of Health and Community Living B.C.
