Canadian Museum of Civilization
The Canadian Museum of Civilization is recognized as one of the premier cultural facilities of the twentieth century, and is home to the Canadian Postal Museum, the Canadian Children's Museum, and an IMAX® theatre. It houses more than 3.75 million artifacts spanning the disciplines of history, archaeology, folk culture, ethnology, postal communications and various other areas of heritage study.
Cannamore Orchard features in their Family Activity Area, outdoor finger and patio stone mazes, a rope as well as a pipe maze, an indoor dark maze, the animal corral, tractor-pulled train rides, and scenic picnic areas. You can even challenge yourselves with life size checkers.
Cyclists and in-line skaters enjoy the Capital Pathway, which consists of 170 kilometres of recreational pathways, and is the most extensive off-road, multi-use system of its kind in North America. One of many Ottawa Attractions.

Fun Junction is Ottawa's newest family fun centre. This 13,000 square foot facility offers rock climbing, a state of the art lazertag system, a glow in the dark 9-hole mini-putt course and a motion simulator ride. Fun Junction also has a large assortment video games.
Our mission is to help students develop mastery of technology that is critical to their future. By becoming powerful computer users, they gain lifelong computer skills that will provide them with an advantage at school and benefit them the rest of their lives.
Macoun Field Club
The Macoun Field Club is a nature club for kids ages 9 to 20 sponsored by the Canadian Museum of Nature and the Ottawa Field-Naturalists' Club. Our club offers weekend field trips to natural areas around Ottawa, and indoor meetings once a week at the Museum of Nature during the school year. There are no fees, and you need only come to a meeting to join!
All levels of skiers and snowboarders can enjoy Mont Cascades Resort. Beginners to experts will have great fun on our nineteen runs which twelve are available for night skiing. Our four chair lifts and two T-bars will ensure you spend less time waiting and more time skiing!
Music for Young Children
All MYC programs cover certain material, designed for the development learning abilities appropriate to the age of the children in the program. The curriculum for each level is carefully geared and paced to the abilities and learning styles for that particular age.
Ray Friel Centre
The Ray Friel Recreation Complex is the result of a successful Public Private Partnership between the City of Ottawa and Serco, with the Complex being owned by the City, and managed by Serco. Residents of Ottawa's eastern communities will benefit from the expanded recreational and community programming while taxpayers will benefit from significant long term savings.
Saunders Farm is now operated by two generations of the Saunders family with the third, the grandkids, starting to have their own novel ideas.

Wheelers Pancake House & Maple Sugar Camp
We are open all year round serving pancake meals from 9AM to 5 PM every day. There is lots to see and do at the sugar bush this time of year from taking a hike on one of our nature trails to touring the Maple Heritage Museum and Sugar Camp..
